Solarpop Distribution (Pty) Ltd aims to become of the largest distributor of speciality toys and games in Africa. Solarpop Distribution boasts an impressive catalogue of products spread across multiple item types such as board games, trading card games, miniature gaming, roleplaying games, gaming accessories, educational toys and games and pop culture collectible items.
Full price of goods and services:
The prices of all goods appear on the website in South African Rands. The indicated prices exclude VAT and transport and/or delivery fees, which are calculated, indicated, and included in the final order on the check-out page. The price of goods reflected include the following charges: freight, applicable insurances, coastal and landing charges, customs, dock and import duties, cartage and railage, rates of exchange, any statutory costs and all other such similar encumbrances. However, if after the date of Solarpop Distribution (Pty) Ltd.'s Quotation (whether before or after the placing of the Purchase order), there is any increase in respect of the cost to Solarpop Distribution of any of the criteria stated herein, then such increase will be for the customer's account.
Manner of payment:
EFT only, free of exchange or bank charges, and payment shall be within the due date of each invoice, and not statement.
Terms of agreement:
Solarpop Distribution’s standard Terms and Conditions regulates all its transactions with its customers and is accessible on its website at the following LINK, from which it can be stored and reproduced electronically by customers.
Time of dispatch and delivery of goods:
Goods will typically be dispatched from Solarpop’s warehouse located in Cape Town, within 48 business hours once the customer has confirmed the sales order for processing and payment has been received and cleared. Solarpop Distribution utilizes an order queue, meaning that the order received last, will be attended to last. In the case of a new product release, this will take preference over regular orders. Delivery times from Cape Town are normally 2-4 working days.
Customers may access and maintain a full record of the transaction at any time by means of using the B2B portal on Solarpop’s website, which allows customers to view details of their account such as purchase history, returns, account balances, invoices, transaction history and statements. Alternatively, they can contact their assigned sales controller or accounts department for copies of records.
Return, Exchange, and refund policy:

Customers shall not be entitled to return any goods to Solarpop Distribution, without Solarpop Distributions’ express consent. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Solarpop's normal express consent for the return of Goods shall be by means of a Return Authorisation (RA). No claim regarding material defects will be entertained by Solarpop Distribution unless made in writing and delivered to Solarpop Distribution’s Cape Town warehouse within the warranty period from the date of delivery of the Goods. In the event of material defects or shortages in the Goods proved to Solarpop Distribution’s satisfaction and upon being properly notified, Solarpop shall at its option :
Either exchange the Goods for similar Goods; or
Repair the Goods; or
Offer a credit in favour of the customer for the value of the returned product.
Subscription to alternative dispute resolution codes:
Solarpop Distribution subscribes to such alternative dispute resolution codes and processes as provided for in applicable legislation, including the Consumer Protection Act.
Security and privacy policy:
Solarpop Distribution’s activities are based on stringent ethical principles and it is committed to protect the privacy of all visitors to its website.
Duration of agreements:
There is no minimum duration of agreements, unless otherwise stipulated in writing. The supply of products can be performed, at Solarpop Distribution’s discretion, on an ongoing basis unless there is a dispute which would be stipulated in writing. This includes overdue account payments.
No cooling-off period:
Solarpop Distribution supplies specialised stock on order to retail customers. The stock is primarily imported, and prices of these goods are dependent on fluctuations in the financial markets which cannot be controlled by Solarpop Distribution. The goods are ordered to the customer’s specifications, the orders are clearly personalised, and the goods cannot be returned by reason of their nature. As a result, Solarpop Distribution cannot accept any return of goods that have been delivered in accordance with specifications, other than as specified in section Return, Exchange, and refund policy above.
