🎶 TOP OF THE POPS: DON’T LET IT KLUSTER 🧲🎵

This month’s track brings the tension - and the bounce. Inspired by the wildly chaotic magnetic dexterity game Kluster, Don’t Let It Kluster is a quirky, rhythmic ride that mirrors every flick, slide, and near-miss that makes the game so addictively fun.

With stutter-step percussion, cheeky breaks, and a vibe that shifts faster than your magnet cluster can collapse, this track keeps you guessing - just like a round of Kluster on a tilted table.

🎧 So crank it up, drop those stones, and don’t let it kluster...

🏛️ More musical marvels on the way — stay tuned!

Insights from our expert in Role-Playing Games & specialty Board Games

The Art of Sandara Tang

I care a lot about art in board games. Probably more than most people – while I’ve never bought a game based on the art alone (yet), I’ve definitely avoided certain games purely because the art didn’t grab me. And with tomorrow (at the time of writing) being National Women’s Day, I have the perfect excuse to talk about one of my favourite “new” artists, Sandara Tang.

Sandara Tang is a digital illustrator from Singapore and has previously contributed art to Android: Netrunner, The Lord of the Rings LCG, and Descent: Journeys in the Dark. However, perhaps appropriately for an artist who specializes in illustrating dragons, her first major work in the world of board games was 2022’s Flamecraft, where her art was actually a major inspiration for the game’s setting. Instantly recognizable, her charming, watercolour-inspired take on fantasy art and animals has also appeared on Critter Kitchen and Tea Witches since then, and will be gracing the boxes of several upcoming releases.

Sandara’s art is far more diverse than these games might suggest though, and she often employs a “more rendered and painterly style,” as she puts it, for darker and more serious pieces. Many of these are showcased on her artstation gallery , and browsing through I found myself hoping that future board game commissions lean into this style as well. That, and wondering how she hasn’t been commissioned for Magic: The Gathering yet.

Either way, as an art lover I’m very excited to see more of Sandara Tang’s work in the board gaming world in the future, and hopefully after reading this some of you are too.

We, the flesh sacks that brought you ‘Dungeon Brah’, present our latest offering to you, ‘Am I Human Game’! ‘Dungeon Brah’ tasked players to battle with old world Cat’hulhian beast, Kevin! This time round, the peril is perilously more perilous. A far greater evil has entered our world (not just some fictional dungeon). Yes, this world! Behold, the ever-hungry devourer of content to replicate and regurgitate into more content. AI!

‘Am I Human Game’ tasks players to gather sets of wacky AI characters, to get rid of them! Get out of here AI goop! Only then can you save our fellow humans. But, the generative goop can also generate some awesome combos, depending on which card of the AI set is being played. You can even save Superhumans if you build a whole set of AI. That's neat... and fun! Use action cards to do actionable things, and illicit strong reactions!

If you think that sounds fun, follow the game on Kickstarter below!
